Tips&Tricks Thursday.

This weeks tips and tricks are going to be different, this weeks post will be:

Tips and Tricks on how to avoid awkward moments

1. The Dentist

I find the dentist so awkward, I always find myself licking his finger by accident or biting his finger. I also find myself looking him in the eyes by accident and then he'll look at me. No its too awkward. Ways to avoid this, erm, sit/lay there looking at the light and keep your tongue down and mouth open

2. The "you too" moment

You know that moment when you get your food, or your at the airport and someone tells you "have a nice..." and you reply "you too" and they aren't doing the "..." and you like "ehh" but after that play it smooth and say if you've got food like "you too, ehh, try some" and at the airport say something like "you too, ehh, oh your not coming, I wish you were" and run :)

3. The 57 week like

You know that moment when your stalking someone on instagram and you get really deep and oops you like the picture, don't panic, I have advice for you. Tip one, don't panic and unlike the picture. Tip two, if the person asks why you liked it say, "I was drunk", so you sound somewhat "cool" if its the type of person why will find that "cool." If not blame your friend :)

4. The trip

"The Trip" is a hard one to avoid, as its usually the worlds fault way you trip in the first place bur its the way you play it out that's even harder, you could just let it happen and carry on like nothing happened but someone will point it out and laugh. You could ask trip then shout "I WAS MEANT TO TRIP OK!"so nobody judges you. Another idea would be to just stand still and then run away, nobody will see that coming!

5. The toilet door opening

Right ok, in year 9 I went on a PGL trip with my school, we were camping, there were toilet and I couldn't lock them. I went to the toilet with 2 of my friends and told them to hold the door, I tried to lock it and gave up and went for a wee. In the middle of my wee they wondered if I locked the door (the door was heavy from what i can remember) so they pulled open the door and I was sat there mid wee with my legs in a weird position and trying not to die of embarrassment as there were about 10 other people out there looking at me...
One this to say here, LOCK ALL DOORS!

6. The teacher mum moment

We must of all done it, when your in class and the word mum instead of miss slips out and everyone takes the mic for the next year. Well to avoid this, just dont call your mum "mum" call her. her name. It might annoy her but that's all the fun...

About a Week in Pictures.

I was meant to do this yesterday but time got ahead of me, so today is the last of the holidays for me and This week has been quite busy: I have done lots of revision for my upcoming mocks and GCSE exams. I also went to Manchester with my friends to meet the lovely Tanya burr, we also had a Nando's (my first time). Emma come up to and we had a day of watching Disney films and taking selfies. This holiday I have been on many walks around where I live and taken some great pictures.

#MotivationMonday.

I found this quote yesterday on tumblr and it just made me think.
Found on Tumblr

I believe that whenever something ends something new will begin.
So every time something you love or loved ends something new will begin, you might not see it at the time but looking back you'll notice it,
So when that thing you love ends. if it does end, then wait for that little something else to begin.

The last time I really noticed this was when I lost a friend, I found my old friend and we became even closer than I was to the friend that I lost.
I know that sounds really silly but I was really close to that friend I lost but finding that old friend really cheered me up and made me forget the pain of that ending.

All the things we do must end at some point in our life, weather its because we have had a change in heart or a new outlook on life, things will end.

We can't sit and be upset about that ending because we'll miss the beginning of something new.

So if something is getting you down because it has ended you be aware that there could be a beginning of something new coming your way.

Sorry this post wasn't that long.
Don't forget to love yourself...

Tips&Tricks Thursday.

I wrote this at the weekend and totally forgot to post this yesterday sorry
Tips&Tricks Thursday: How to create a good revision schedule

OK I'm not going to lie I'm not the best a time keeping or remembering to do revision, but I do know some good tips from people who have done there GCSE's
I have mocks coming it and then I actually start my GCSE's May 12 th so...

1) Don't over do it
You need to space it out do so all sorts of topics not just one that you really like. You also need to spend 20 min to an hour each time, don't do more than an hour in one sitting or my mind wont be able to cope

2) Reward yourself
If you have something to look forward to at the end of your exams or revision the work towards that. Work for your reward! It can be things like Prom, a holiday in the summer, to food or a party.

3) Set goals
So say you are revising maths and you struggle with a topic, set yourself a goal of knowing that topic by the end of the day or something. Then once you have learnt it go back a week later and see if you can remember how to do it

4) Put calming music on
Sometimes I revises listening to classic FM then other times I listen to the music I'm loving at the time. This can calm and relax you.

5) Have a time table
It doesn't have to be a fully planned time table but you will need to fill in 20mins- 1 hour slots of revision with breaks in between. This will keep you organised and you will know when your revision is and can plan your life around it. Remember little and often, you can't concentrate for to long.

6) Have a revision folder
I find using folders really help me keep organised, keeping organised is the key to success and a revision folder helps me and my friends greatly!

7) Have food and drink with you
Having a glass of water or a soft drink of your choice will keep you hydrated whilst you're doing your revision

8) Get revision books
Your school might sell them or you might have to get them from a shop like WHsmiths. They can be expensive but they are one of my favourite ways to revises, they really help! Make sure you have the right one for the exam bored you are sitting your exam with.

9) Past papers
Past papers will help you learn the types of questions you might get in your exam. If you do so many you will begin to see a pattern and that can help you with what you need to revise. But some mark schemes can be very hard to understand.

10) YouTube videos
YouTube videos or websites like mymaths and my GCSE science really help me when I need someone else to explain it to me. They are really good for visual learns.

INTERNET.

Well, this week went fast (well for me anyway) I've had a long weekend as my school had "consultation day" which is basically parents evening but the whole day and you only get to see your form tutor who can hardly talk by lunch time.
Anyway this weeks post is all about internet.
The internet can be an amazing thing if you use it right!
But it can also be a scary place.
Recently I watch a programme called cyber bully on 4oD and it shocked me at how easily you could bully someone on-line and what may of just been a bit of "banter" can really upset people.
That wasn't what I planned to talk about in this post, what I wanted to talk about was how I've met/re-found friends from the internet and some amazing things about the internet.
When I first started primary school I made friends with a girl called Emma, our friendship grew and grew. Then in year 4 Emma had to move away. She moved 2 hours away. We met up once or twice after she moved but because we were so young it was hard to stay in touch. I kept asking my mum to phone her mum and ask if we could meet up over the years but we were always busy (I don't understand why) but now 7 years on the 11th of may 2014 we found each other on twitter and started talking. It was her birthday the next day which I found really weird not going to lie.
Since that day we have seen each other 2's and have planned to see each other again in the February half term.
This is the way to uses the internet right!
Emma also has a blog:The Half Life Of Emma
Sorry for a short post this week, I just wanted to write a bit but didn't want to bore you.
Thank you and this week we have our tips and trick Thursday post so see you then.

#MotivationMonday.

Yesterday I ask one of my friends to send me a motivational quote, he sent me this one.

when he sent me this, at first I didn't know what I was going to write but I left it a while to see if I thought of something and I did.
If you try to act normal all the time you aren't being yourself and if you keep trying to fit in and be normal you aren't the person you were meant to be.
Do what ever you want. Wear whatever you want. And stand out and be yourself.
If you are being yourself and people are mean and bully you then they shouldn't be in your life.
If you love something or someone and other people dont agree, go with what your heart tells you and be and love whatever you want.
If people disagree with what your saying because it's not the normal, stuff them you are a better person than them and you don't follow the crowd.
BE YOURSELF!
LOVE YOURSELF!
STAND OUT!

I hope you have a great week standing out and being yourself!
Love you xox

January 2015 Favourites.

Happy First of Feb!
Sorry I didn't post anything last week I just couldn't think of anything good to say and I also wanted a break so ye, I'm back now!
This week I am doing my January 2015 favourites, this month has gone by so fast and has been a busy month for me. I've had many parties and birthdays than any other month.
Lets start my favourites off with:

BEAUTY

My first beauty favourite would definitely have to be my Urban Decay Naked 2 pallet, I've loved this ever since I got it but this month I have used it almost everyday and created so many different eye looks with this pallet.

Witch Anti-blemish BB cream, this BB cream has been one of 2 things that has been on my face this month. As much skin has become so much clearer I don't have to uses a foundation and instead of foundation ive been using this BB cream that has little coverage and is good for your skin.

Kate Moss lipstick in 107, as I have been to many parties this month I have needed a lipstick and at the start of this month my best friend Chloe and I went a brought ourselves this lipstick and even though I've only worn it out 2's I know I will get so much uses out of this lipstick.

Real Techniques Eye Starter Set, I got this for Christmas and I uses these almost everyday. They are really good brushed and I recommend them to anyone looking for good brushes.

HAIR PRODUCTS

VO5 Heat Protect Styling Spray, this past month I have used heat on my hair a lot (a lot of me anyway) and I didn't want my hair to go horrible so i brought this at the same time as the lipstick and it is great. it held the curl and straightness more than it did before without heat protection on.

Got2B beach matt- Texturizing salt spray, I uses this spray when I want my hair to be thicker than it is naturally and it works! I put it in my hair when its semi dry and then put my hair/head upside down and blow dry it dry.

SKIN CARE

Garnier Cleaning Wipes, as ive been at sleepover and been out till 11pm I've needed something that will take my makeup off quickly yet take it off well and these have really done the job well.

Germolene, my spots have almost all gone and I don't need to put spot gel on any more but i do have many scars so germolene is helping me get rid of theses scares

RANDOM

Endless Love (Movie), this movie has been a fave since the end of last year and its just amazing if you haven't watched it yet I advise you do! Well this is if you like sloppy films like me...

Photo Albums, lately I have been looking through past photo albums of me as a baby and they make me smile and I wanted this to be a favourite so ye

MAOAM- Pinballs, PINBALLS are soooo nice! if you like sweets then you should like theses.

Ted Baker Body spray, I keep a bottle of this in my bag at school and I'm addicted to the smell!

SEE YOU TOMORROW!!!
