I am not an expert because I am 15 and I haven't lived through every situation. But over my life time I have gone through situation that made me very unhappy and I know many people who have and still our going through a hard time. These are aFew ways that I have gotten my mind set on positive
1. do what makes you happy
Everything you do should make you happy (even school at times) if everything you do should make you happy. Than your life will become more positive and happy
2. Spend time with people who make you happy
The people you choose to spend you life with are people who should add more positivity and happiness and not bring you down and make you moody
3. Cry once and awhile
Having a cry once and awhile will make you feel so much better. Crying is good everyone should cry, if you don't you will be holding in to much emotion
5. Read
Reading can relax your mind and take your mind off you own life. I try to read every night to forget bad things that have happened or are happening.
6. Spend time alone
Time alone can let you be yourself and with the time you are alone you can do what ever you want. Weather that be reading, eating or watching a movie or tv.
7. Look after yourself
Looking after yourself can mean anything from having a shower or a bath to making sure you eat when you are doing your homework. If you forget about your own welfare then you won't be as happy as you wanted to be.
8. Listen to music
Listening to sad music and happy up beat music can cheer you up and it can also calm you and stop you from thinking bad thoughts
9. Everyday is a fresh start
If yesterday was a bad day, just remember today could be a new and amazing day and everything could be totally great and you could have your best day ever
10. Go for a walk
Going for walks mean you can clear your head and get fresh air. It can be short long or median size walk, however long you want to walk for.
